Jazz.Coop at Gateshead International Jazz Festival

The Gateshead International Jazz Festival (10-12 April) is one of the high points of the North East jazz calendar, and Jazz.Coop is delighted to be involved and able to support it in a small way.

On Friday 10 April, Jazz.Coop will welcome festival goers to a late night gig and jam session at the Globe. The Steve Glendinning Trio will be there to keep things going and visiting jazz musicians are very welcome to join in. Jazz.Coop volunteers will be providing a free taxi service from the Sage to the Globe (it’s just over one mile).

On Saturday 11 April we are running a special Play Jazz! workshop from 2pm to 5pm led by award-winning composer and saxophonist Iain Ballamy, who will be appearing the next day in the iconic band Loose Tubes. For more info and to book click here.
